01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. They can keep a secure session working, remember a preference, or allow an approved analytics or marketing service to recognise a visit.

02

Necessary cookies

These support essential functions and cannot be switched off through the preference panel:

  • idl_bali_cookie_preferences — remembers accepted and rejected optional categories for up to one year.
  • idlbali_admin — a short-lived, secure, HTTP-only administrator session cookie; it is never used for customers or advertising.
  • Stripe may set strictly necessary cookies on its hosted checkout to prevent fraud and complete payment.
03

Analytics cookies

Analytics is off by default. If IDL Bali configures a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID, the Google script loads only after you enable Analytics. It is used to understand aggregated website usage and is not required for the application or checkout.

04

Anonymous campaign-link statistics

When an IDL Bali campaign link is opened, the server immediately increases an aggregate daily click counter for that campaign and device category. This basic count does not set a tracking cookie, create a persistent visitor identifier, retain the raw IP address or user-agent string, or connect the click to activity on other websites.

More detailed visitor recognition and order attribution remain disabled unless you enable Marketing cookies.

05

Marketing cookies

Marketing is off by default. If you arrive through an IDL Bali campaign link and enable Marketing, first-party cookies connect consented visits with a later order:

  • idl_bali_campaign — campaign attribution for 30 days.
  • idl_bali_visitor — a random visitor identifier for up to one year.
  • idl_bali_campaign_session — session continuity for 30 minutes.

Campaign records store hashed visitor and session identifiers. IP address and user agent are encrypted at rest; approximate location is recorded only when the hosting environment provides GeoIP data.

06

Change or withdraw your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. Rejecting optional cookies is as direct as accepting them and does not prevent the application or checkout from working.

07

Browser controls

You may also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent secure checkout, administrator access or saved preference choices from working correctly.
